Some of the builder links on this site are referral links. If you click one and end up subscribing, the builder may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra: you pay the same price you'd pay arriving any other way. Those commissions keep this site running without ads or paywalls.

How our /go/ links work

Every referral link on this site looks like /go/ followed by a builder's name. Click it and you're redirected straight to that builder's website; the address just tells them we sent you. These links are marked as sponsored in the page's code, so browsers and search engines know exactly what they are. Nothing is hidden, tracked on our side, or dressed up as something it isn't. If a link doesn't start with /go/, it earns us nothing, and that covers most of the links on this site.

Who pays us, and who doesn't

Here's the part worth noticing. Some builders in our rankings pay us nothing at all, and they're ranked anyway, right where the evidence puts them. The builder we recommend most often for seniors, GoDaddy, isn't linked from this site, period; recommending it earns us exactly zero. If commissions steered our rankings, that page would read very differently than it does.

Our independence, in writing

Our rankings are built from documented setup flows and published 2026 reviews, and every score is decided before any money question enters the room. A builder cannot buy a position, a higher score, or a gentler list of cons. If a partnership ended tomorrow, the review would stay exactly as it is.

One promise underneath it all: we'd rather you pick the right builder and pay us nothing than pick the wrong one and pay us a commission. A recommendation that costs you a year of frustration isn't worth anything to anyone. Questions about any of this? Email [email protected] and ask away.
